Drive 5 Crawler Cutter
The Drive 5 Crawler Cutter from IMS Robotics is built for the heavy hitters—ideal for municipal contractors and large-scale projects in 6″–16″ mains.
Mounted on rugged wheels and fed by a 328 ft motorized cable reel, it literally drives itself into the line and reverses back out at the flick of a joystick. All functions—forward, reverse, speed, and steering—are controlled from the top-mount panel, while integrated LED lighting and a live-feed camera keep you locked onto the cut. Compact enough for tight pits yet powerful enough for big jobs, the Drive 5 makes hands-free reinstatement cutting smoother than ever.
90° Cutting Head
Attach the 90° adapter head in front of the cutter to rotate the camera view perpendicular to the pipe wall—giving you a crystal-clear side-on perspective of every cut. This orientation not only enhances your visibility in tight spots but lets you push the cutter deeper for more thorough, edge-to-edge reinstatement.

Powerful Air-Powered Motor
The cutter head runs on 35CFM @140PSI, which makes the head speed run at over 10k RPMs. Easily change cutter bits in under 30 seconds, with different bits for cutting concrete, pipe, foreign objects, and liner.
Integrated CCTV Monitoring
Built-in camera inside the cutter head with a 150° field of view lets you verify tie-in placement and cutting in real time from the control panel. With the Drive 5, the front cutter can spin a continuous 360° for optimal visual and has a water feature to clean the lense while cutting.
