BC Comp. A 60 (29.76 lb)
BC Resin Component A is the primary epoxy resin used in the BC epoxy system for CIPP pipe rehabilitation and in-house pipe relining. This high-viscosity, styrene-free epoxy resin is designed to provide controlled liner impregnation while preventing excessive resin flow during installation. The 60 Comp. A is compatible with the 60 minute pot-life Comp. B counterpart.
When combined with BC Resin Component B hardener, the system forms a durable structural liner with high mechanical strength and strong chemical resistance, supporting long-term trenchless pipe rehabilitation.
This Component A (60) formulation must be used with BC Component B 60 minute hardener.
The system is specifically designed so that:
BC Component A 15/30 → use with BC Component B 15 or 30 minute
BC Component A 60 → use with BC Component B 60 minute
Using the correct hardener ensures the intended pot life, curing time, and final mechanical performance of the epoxy system.
Available Pot Life Options
30 Minute Pot Life – 4hr Cure Time @77°F
60 Minute Pot Life – 12hr Cure Time @77°F
Technical Specifications
Heat resistance:
Short-term ring stiffness (EN ISO 9969)
8.34 kN/m² (4" pipe, wall thickness 3.8 mm)
Durability / Service Life
50 years (at an average operating temperature of +59 °F)
BC Epoxy Resin requires Part A resin and Part B hardener to be mixed together in the correct ratio. Part A is required for the chemical curing reaction — without Part A the epoxy will not cure.*
